One night, a monk who was staying at the temple was resting in front of the hearth.

At that moment, a mother and child who said they came from the village arrived.

My mother was having various conversations with the monk.

背中にくっついて、
なかなか離れませんでした。
The child clung to the monks shoulders and back and wouldnt let go.

母さんと

帰っていきました。
However, after a while, the mother and child went home.

遅くなったころ、

部屋のほうから
声が
聞こえてきました。
When it got late at night, I heard voices coming from the big room.

感じがしました。
Then, I felt as if the monks back was being pulled.

When I looked at my back in surprise, I saw a thin spider thread stuck to it.

The monk was able to escape by taking off his clothes.

The next morning, the monk returned to the temple with the villager.

糸に
包まれた
人の
骨がありました。
When I opened the floor of the large room, I found lots of spiders and human bones wrapped in spider webs.
