In 2016, as Japanese became increasingly popular globally, especially in the language learning community, an interesting reality emerged: NHK Easy News – a simple and easy-to-understand news source, became a favorite learning tool for thousands of Japanese learners.

However, the reading experience and learning from there was still limited. The available tools were not optimal enough to combine language learning and understanding real content naturally and easily.
