今日きょうは、朝あさから雨あめだった。いつもと同おなじ時間じかんに家いえを出でたが、会社かいしゃに４０分ふんも遅おくれてしまった。駅えきから一度いちど家いえにもどったのだ。さいふをわすれたと思おもったからだ。雨あめがひどくなっていて、たいへんだった。

家いえの中なかをさがしたが、さいふはどこにもなかった。着きていたコートのポケットに入はいっていたのだ。
