Todaii is more than just a Japanese learning app.

In 2016, a fun reality appeared as Japanese became popular worldwide: NHK Easy News became the favorite learning tool for thousands of learners.
However, the reading and learning experience at that time was still limited. Existing tools were not optimized enough to naturally combine language learning with understanding real content.
The idea for Todaii Japanese was the result of careful observation and market analysis. At that time, many vocabulary or exam apps existed.
However, no app focused deeply on hearing and reading—the two core skills to master any language.
"Todaii" is inspired by "灯台" (Tōdai), which means "Lighthouse". A lighthouse is a tower designed to glow to help ships orient and find their path.
The meaning of "Lighthouse" for language learners represents protection, trust, and faith, helping everyone orient themselves and overcome difficulties in the learning process to build knowledge themselves.
