Transgender ban, US President Biden withdraws
米国のバイデン大統領は２５日、体と心の性別が一致しない「トランスジェンダー」の人たちが米軍に入隊することを禁じるトランプ前政権の政策を撤回する大統領令に署名しました
U.S. President Joe Biden signed an executive order on the 25th to withdraw the policy of the former Trump administration, which prohibits ”transgender” people who do not have the same gender in body and mind from joining the U.S. military.
Secretary of Defense Austin was also present at the signature
バイデン氏は署名に先立ち、これまでの最高司令官や防衛長官が支持してきた立ち位置に復帰すると指摘します
Prior to signing, Biden points out that he will return to the position supported by the previous Commander-in-Chief and Defense Secretary.
He said all qualified Americans would be able to wear uniforms and serve the country.
