Cooking oil price increase from spring announced by three major manufacturers
Three major edible oil manufacturers have announced that they will raise prices for household and commercial edible oils from March to April as prices of raw soybeans and other ingredients are rising due to unseasonable weather.
Of these, Showa Sangyo will raise the price of 6 household cooking oils such as canola oil by 30 yen or more per kilogram from the amount delivered on March 1.
In addition, J-Oil Mills will raise the price of 17 household items such as AJINOMOTO Sarasara Canola Oil by 30 yen or more per kilogram from the amount shipped on April 1.
The Nissin Oillio Group will raise the price of 23 items such as household Nissin Canola Oil by 20 yen or more per kilogram from the amount delivered on April 1.
The three companies have decided to raise the prices of commercial products at the same level.
