US car rental giant Hertz changes CEO as EV “horror show” turmoil continues

U.S. car rental giant Hertz continues to be in turmoil
The company, which announced in January that it would sell about 20,000 electric vehicles (EV), equivalent to one-third of its fleet, has now announced that it will replace its chief executive officer (CEO).
This will be the fifth top official to take office in just four years.

According to Hertz, the current Share CEO, who contributed to the introduction of the EV mentioned above, will resign at the end of this month.
Scheer took charge of Hertz’s management two years ago after working for nearly 30 years at U.S. investment bank Goldman Sachs.
His successor will be Jill West, a former executive at Delta Air Lines and General Motors (GM).
