A man driving a truck has been arrestested and is being investigated for an express train accident in Taiwan.
On April 2nd in Hualien county Taiwan, there was an accident when an express train derailed in a tunnel.
So far,50 people have been killed and more than 200 injured.
The train collided with a truck that had fallen on the railway before the train had entered the tunnel.
A truck that was stopped due to construction fell on the railway 20m below.
Police think there is a possibility it was a result of the truck’s brakes failed.
The trucks driver has been arrested and is being investigated for causing the accident.
Camera’s in the train are being checked to confirm if the truck had fallen on the railway at the time when the train had come close to the tunnel.
The man driving the truck expressed his apology for those killed and injured in the accident.
