Suspect Haruo Yoshida of Nerima Ward is suspected of strangling his 81-year-old wife to death at their home around 4:30 pm on the 14th.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, Yoshida reported that he had strangled his wife to death, and when police officers arrived, they found the woman lying unconscious in the hallway.
The woman was taken to the hospital, but was confirmed dead.
The suspect Yoshida reportedly said things like ``I was tired of caring for her.’’
