News in Hong Kong is still not free
The Hong Kong Journalist Association is investigating the freedom of reporting in Hong Kong.
The Kyokai Association investigated 10 items related to news reporting on a scale of 10 to 10.
The result for 2024 was 28.9 points.
Although the figure is slightly higher than in 2023, the association says, ``The situation continues to make it difficult for the press to maintain its freedom.''
Compared to 2013, the freedom to criticize the government and China has declined.
A large number of journalists responded that ``the media has come to limit the amount of content they report.''
