August 15 marked the 78th anniversary of the end of the Pacific War.
At the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, there was a ceremony to pray for the approximately 3.1 million people who died in the war.
Due to the typhoon, the number of people who attended was 1855, which was less than planned.
