Floating windmills on the sea to generate electricity: Experiments conducted in Akita and Aichi prefectures
The government believes that it is important to use the power of nature to generate electricity so as not to emit gases that raise the temperature of the earth.
We also want to increase the amount of electricity generated by the power of the wind by turning windmills in the seas around Japan.
However, there are not many shallow places where windmills can be placed on the ocean floor.
On the 11th, it was decided that an experiment to generate electricity by floating windmills would be carried out in the seas of Akita and Aichi prefectures.
The government says it wants to be able to produce a lot of electricity cheaply and use it quickly for everyone’s daily lives.
