Volcanic eruption in Iceland spews lava up to 50m high

A volcano has erupted again in Iceland, spewing lava to a height of about 50 meters.
A volcano erupted on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland on the 29th.
The Icelandic Meteorological Agency reports that lava is spewing out like a fountain to a height of 50 meters from a crack approximately 1 km long.
Local rescue teams said, ”More than 100 people were evacuated from nearby hot springs before the eruption.”
There are no injuries or other casualties so far.
This is the fifth eruption in this area since December last year.
According to local media, an investigation revealed that magma has accumulated underground in the vicinity, and local authorities are cautioning residents in the area that ”volcanic activity may become even more intense.”
