Kim Gyo-hoon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea and the chairman of the National Assembly Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, emphasized that in recent years, the lack of performance infrastructure in South Korea has become a serious risk to the competitiveness of the K-POP industry.

Rep. Kim said, ``While the international reputation of K-content is increasing, there is still a lack of performance venues that can accommodate tens of thousands of people in Japan.''

BTSを輩出はいしゅつしたHYBEやSM、JYPといった大手おおて事務所じむしょが韓国かんこく国内こくないで大規模だいきぼ公演こうえんを実施じっしするためには、5万席まんせき以上いじょうを収容しゅうよう可能かのうなKアリーナの建設けんせつが不可欠ふかけつである」と指摘してきした

In order for major agencies such as HYBE, SM, and JYP, which produced BTS, to hold large-scale performances in South Korea, it is essential to construct K Arena, which can accommodate more than 50,000 seats.

このため、来年度らいねんどより国費こくひ5億おくウォン（日本円にほんえんで約やく5359万円まんえん）を投入とうにゅうし、首都圏しゅとけんにおける中ちゅう・大型おおがたアリーナ建設けんせつに向むけた調査ちょうさ研究けんきゅうが開始かいしされる予定よていである

For this reason, from next fiscal year, 500 million won (approximately 53.59 million yen in Japanese yen) of national funds will be invested to begin research and research into the construction of medium- to large-sized arenas in the metropolitan area.

同計画どうけいかくでは、仁川インチョン国際空港こくさいくうこうのある永宗島ヨンジョンドウ一帯いったいにおいて4カ所かしょの候補地こうほちが挙あげられ、既すでに文化ぶんか体育たいいく観光部かんこうぶによる検討けんとうが進すすめられている

The plan lists four candidate locations in the Yeongjongdo area, where Incheon International Airport is located, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is already considering them.

Kim stated, ``For the growth of the domestic performance market in South Korea, it is essential to establish a professional performance venue with a capacity of 50,000 people.This goes beyond mere regional development and is an industrial infrastructure development that the nation should promote,'' stressing the need for the nation to strengthen the K-POP industrial base.
