A story about a stone that was shattered by a mackerel
This is a story about a rock in the mountains near Tokitsu Town in Nagasaki Prefecture.
A long time ago, a man named Gonsuke picked a lot of fish mackerel in the sea.
Gonsuke decides to go to Nagasaki town through the mountain path to sell mackerel.
As I climbed the path, I saw a large rock.
Another large rock was on top of the rock
The rock was shaking and it was about to fall
Gonsuke thought about how many times I should go or go back.
While I was thinking about it, it was night
The mackerel has rotten
The villager said, "Even if this rock sways, it will never fall.
All I didn't know was the lazy Gonsuke."
This rock has come to be called "mackerel stones."
Even today, this rock is visible in the forest.
