Japanese government donates a car to a hospital in Thailand for people in Myanmar

ミャンマーで3年ねん前まえにクーデターが起おこってから、7万まん人にんぐらいの人ひとがタイに避難ひなんしました

Since the coup in Myanmar three years ago, around 70,000 people have fled to Thailand.

多おおくの人ひとは不便ふべんな所ところに住すんでいて、正式せいしきな書類しょるいを持もっていないため、医療いりょうを受うけることができません

Many live in inconvenient locations and lack formal documentation, making them unable to receive medical care.

このため日本にっぽんの政府せいふは、ミャンマーから避難ひなんして来きた人ひとたちのために、タイの病院びょういんに2台だいの車くるまを贈おくりました

For this reason, the Japanese government gifted two cars to a Thai hospital for people evacuated from Myanmar.

2月がつ28日にち、病院びょういんの看護師かんごしなどがこの車くるまでミャンマーの人ひとたちが住すんでいる町まちに行いって、健康診断けんこうしんだんをしました

The Thai government plans to use this vehicle to inject polio and other vaccines to people in Myanmar for free.

タイの政府せいふはこの車くるまを使つかって、ミャンマーの人ひとたちに無料むりょうでポリオなどのワクチンを注射ちゅうしゃする予定よていです

A woman from Karen State, Myanmar said, ``When I went to the hospital, the police arrested me because I didn’t have any ID with me.’’

ミャンマーのカレン州しゅうから来きた女性じょせいは「病院びょういんに行いったら、身分証明書みぶんしょうめいしょを持もっていなかったので警察けいさつに捕つかまりました

I’m happy to be able to receive medical care for free.”

無料むりょうで医療いりょうを受うけることができて、うれしいです」と話はなしていました
