Aomori scallop fishing boat sinks; man’s body found; death toll rises to 4
青森県横浜町沖でホタテ漁船が沈没して3人が死亡した事故で、3日、むつ市の海岸で行方不明となっていた男性が遺体で見つかりました
The body of a man who was missing on the coast of Mutsu City was found on the 3rd after a scallop fishing boat sank off the coast of Yokohama, Aomori Prefecture, killing three people.
The body found was Hiroki Ota (43) of Yokohama Town.
According to the Japan Coast Guard, just before 3pm on the 3rd, a passerby found the body of a man washed ashore on the coast of Nakanosawa, Mutsu City, and called 110.
According to the Yokohama Town Fisheries Association, the body has been confirmed to be Mr. Ota.
A scallop fishing boat sank in Mutsu Bay off the coast of Yokohama on the 29th of last month, and three people were confirmed dead, and a search was underway for Mr. Ota, who had been missing for three days.
