Taiwan: 200 students who studied abroad on Japanese scholarships gather
日本台湾交流協会ができてから、去年で50年になりました
Last year marked the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association.
The Association held a meeting in Taiwan on the 5th for those who came to study in Japan from Taiwan on Japanese scholarships.
About 200 people gathered

A member of the association said, ”Japan and Taiwan have continued to have heart-to-heart exchanges.
Let’s continue to work hard to strengthen our relationship.”
会には、今年日本に留学する30人も出席しました
The meeting was attended by 30 students who will be studying in Japan this year.
A woman who will study abroad at the University of Tokyo next month said, ”I would like to study how Japan is dealing with the problem of a shortage of people in agriculture.”
Japan began inter-country relations with China in 1972 and ended inter-state relations with Taiwan.
