Amazon begins selling prescription drugs online
通販大手のアマゾンジャパンがドラッグストア大手などと連携し、処方薬のオンライン販売を始めると発表しました
Amazon Japan, a major mail order company, has announced that it will start selling prescription drugs online in collaboration with major drug stores and others.
They collaborate with nine major companies including Welcia Holdings and other dispensing pharmacies and drug stores.
Approximately 2,500 stores nationwide
After receiving medical treatment at a medical institution that accepts e-prescriptions, users use the Amazon Shopping app to receive online medication guidance from a pharmacist, and the medication is then delivered to their home or nearby pharmacy.
It is intended to be used by people who regularly require prescription drugs due to chronic illnesses, and by people who want to reduce travel and waiting times.
