Russian French reporters suspension; measures to combat the French government

Le Monde, a leading French newspaper, has revealed that it is no longer possible to station correspondents in Russia.
The Russian side has said it is a countermeasure against the French government.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Zakharava explained that the measure was due to the French government refusing to issue a visa for reporters from the Russian daily Komsomoriskaya Pravda.
Meanwhile, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refusing to issue a visa because the person was not a reporter but a spy from a Russian intelligence agency.
