昨日、今シーズンの漁が解禁された冬の味覚の「ズワイガニ」。

鳥取県は松葉ガニと呼ばれる雄のズワイガニが有名で、なかでも「五輝星」と称されるカニは県のトップブランドです。

今朝、鳥取港では9匹が水揚げされ、初競りにかけられました。
Nine crabs were docked at Tottori port this morning and put up for the first auction.
最高値は幅14.6センチ、重さ1.3キロで、去年を40万円も上回る90万円でした。　
The highest price was the crab with a width of 14.6 cm and a weight of 1.3 kg with 900,000 yen, 400,000 yen higher than last year.
「ぜひコロナを乗り越え、山陰の方にも“ウェルカニ”」

漁船の燃料である原油価格の高騰や資源不足などの影響で今シーズンは厳しい船出ですが、コロナ禍で落ち込んだ景気回復に“カニ頼み”です。

松葉ガニの漁は来年3月20日まで続きます。
