I'm Yamamoto Atsushi.
日本、静岡県出身、掛川市。
I'm from Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture, Kakegawa city.
僕はT 四十二というクラスの陸上競技の選手です。
I'm an athlete of track and field sports of a class called T42.
初めて出場したオリンピックは北京大会です。
The first Olympics I joined was the Beijing competition.
銀メダルを獲得しました。
I obtained a silver medal.

六メートル六十二でした。
Six meters and 62 centimeters.
陸上競技を始めて十五年です。
Fifteen years since I started track and field sports.
始めたきっかけは、
The reason I started was
陸上競技用の義足がものすごくカッコよかったので、
because prosthetic legs for track and field sports were super cool,
僕自身もそれを履いて走りたかったということです。
and I wanted to wear that and run too.
あんまり決めてないです。
I haven't really decided.
どこも見てないですね。風景は見えてません。
I don't look anywhere. The view isn't visible
距離をやっぱりしっかり測ってもらえるということで、自分の成長が分かる。
I can get someone to properly measure the distance certainly, so I know my own growth.
今のところないのかな。でも筋力を付けるというところに関しては同じかな。
Not for now, I guess. But the aspect about building muscle strength is the same, I guess.

ものすごく期待があります。観客を満員にしたいです。
I have a lot of expectations. I want to make it a full house of spectators.
現役選手として金メダルを目指してると思います。
As an active athlete, I would like to aim for the gold medal.
