「セブン＆アイ・ホールディングス」の井阪社長はプラスチックごみ削減策の一環として、使い捨てのスプーンやフォークを受け取らなかった客にポイントを付与することを検討する考えを示しました。　
President Isaka of "Seven & i Holdings" expressed the intention to consider offering points to customers who do not take disposable spoons and forks as part of their plastic waste minimization measures.
これは小泉環境大臣の提案を受けたもので、最初はエリアを絞って試験的に始め、評判が良ければ全国に展開していきたいとしています。　
This intention is in response to the proposal of the Minister of Environment Koizumi, first they will narrow the area to test, if it is rated well, they will expand nationwide.
政府はコンビニエンスストアや飲食店に使い捨てのスプーンやストローなどの提供方法を見直すよう求める法案を今月、閣議決定しています。
The government decided to hold a Cabinet Meeting this month to discuss a draft bill requiring convenience stores and restaurants to consider providing disposable spoons and straws.
