先月、日本を訪れた外国人は207万人余りで、新型コロナの感染拡大が始まった2020年2月以降、初めて200万人を超えました。　
Last month, more than 2.07 million foreigners visited Japan, surpassing the 2 million mark for the first time since February 2020, when the spread of the new coronavirus began.
政府観光局によりますと、6月の訪日外国人の数は去年のおよそ17倍の207万3300人でした。
According to the National Tourism Organization, the number of foreign visitors to Japan in June was 2,073,300, about 17 times more than last year.
200万人回復は2020年1月以来、3年5カ月ぶりです。
This is the first time in 3 years and 5 months since January 2020, the number of foreigners recovering to 2 million people.
台湾をはじめとした東アジアからの訪日客が増え、北米や中東、オーストラリアなどはコロナ前を上回る水準に回復しました。
The number of visitors to Japan from East Asia, including Taiwan, has increased, and North America, the Middle East and Australia have recovered to levels above pre-coronavirus levels.
特にアメリカは、3割近く上回りました。
About US alone, this figure exceeds nearly 30%.
観光庁によりますと、4月から6月の訪日外国人1人あたりの消費額はおよそ20万5000円で、宿泊費の増加などからコロナ前より32％増えています。
According to the Japan Tourism Agency, the consumption of each foreign visitor to Japan from April to June is about 205,000 yen, up 32% from pre-pandemic due to rising accommodation costs and other factors.
