EU（ヨーロッパ連合）の議会に所属する7人の議員が台湾を訪問しました。
Seven members of the EU Parliament (European Union) visited Taiwan.
欧州議会の代表団が公式に台湾を訪れるのは今回が初めてです。　
This is the first time a European Parliament delegation has made an official visit to Taiwan.
欧州議会に所属するフランスやリトアニア、チェコなど7カ国の議員からなる代表団が3日、台湾に到着しました。　
A delegation of members from seven countries, including France, Lithuania and the Czech Republic, belonging to the European Parliament, arrived in Taiwan on the 3rd.
台湾外交部によりますと、代表団は3日から5日まで台湾に滞在し、蔡英文総統らと会談するほか、オードリー・タン氏ら台湾当局の複数の関係者と交流する予定だということです。　
According to Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation will stay in Taiwan from the 3rd to the 5th to meet with President Tsai Ing-wen and interact with a number of Taiwanese government officials, including Mr. Audrey Tan.
欧州議会は先月、台湾との関係を強化する報告書を可決していて、台湾の外交部長がEU諸国を歴訪するなど急速に外交関係を深めています。　
Last month, the European Parliament approved a report to strengthen ties with Taiwan, and Taiwan's Foreign Minister visits EU countries and is rapidly deepening diplomatic ties.
一方で、中国政府は「中国の主権と領土を損なう言動だ」と強く反発しています。
On the other hand, the Chinese government strongly opposes, "It is an act of undermining China's sovereignty and territory".
