茨城県小美玉市の工場でプラスチックなどが燃える火事がありました。
There was a fire related to burning plastic at a factory in Omitama City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
当時、工場内に従業員がいたということですが、けが人は確認されていません。　
Although there were workers in the factory at the time, no casualties were confirmed.
消防車が並んで止まる奥に、激しい炎と黒い煙が見えます。　
Intense flames and black smoke could be seen behind parked fire engines.
午前9時半ごろ、小美玉市上玉里で「黒煙が上がっている」と近隣住民から119番通報がありました。　
Around 9:30 a.m., a nearby resident called 119 to report "black smoke rising" in Kamidama-ri, Omitama City.
警察によりますと、火災があったのは「ゼネラル・グッズ株式会社」の茨城工場で、火はおよそ1時間後にほぼ消し止められたということです。　
According to police, the fire occurred at the Ibaraki factory of General Goods Co., Ltd. and was almost extinguished after about an hour.
出火当時、工場内には従業員がいましたが、けが人は確認されていません。　
At the time of the fire, there were workers working in the factory but no injuries were confirmed.
何らかの原因で工場内のプラスチックが燃え、火が広がったとみられ、警察などが火事の詳しい状況を調べています。　
It seems that the plastic in the factory caught fire for some reason and the fire spread, police and others are investigating the details of the fire.
現場はJR常磐線高浜駅から東に3キロほどの工場などが立ち並ぶ場所です。
The site is about 3 km east of Takahama Station on the JR Joban Line and is lined with factories on both sides.
