JR東海は去年3月に引退した新幹線「700系」の車両に使われているアルミを再資源化する技術を開発しました。　
JR Tokai developed an aluminum recycling technology used in the "700 Series" Shinkansen trains which stopped working in March last year.
より細かく裁断することで塗料やボルトなどの不純物を除去し、これまで以上に強く純度の高いアルミを再生できるということです。　
By cutting it into smaller pieces, impurities such as paint and bolts can be removed, while at the same time it is possible to regenerate harder and purer aluminum than current.
1両から4トン再生産でき、二酸化炭素の排出量を97％削減できるとしています。
They say 1 to 4 tons of aluminum can be recycled and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 97%.
JR東海は再生されたアルミを駅や店の建築資材として再利用することにしています。
JR Tokai has decided to reuse recycled aluminum as a building material for stations and shops.
