チョコレートの原料カカオといえば茶色をイメージしますがこちらのカカオドリンクはピンク色なんです。
およそ100年前からチョコレート作りを続ける明治は、カカオを全く新しい技術で加工したドリンクやアイスなどを期間限定で発売しました。
カカオの実から取れるカカオ豆は、これまでチョコレートやココアに加工する以外、使い道がほとんどありませんでした。
新素材「カカオフラバノール」はピンク色と甘酸っぱい味が特徴です。
明治はカカオの新しい食べ方を提案することで需要を安定させ、適正価格での取引を進めて生産農家の環境を改善したいとしています。
