セブン＆アイホールディングスは子会社のデパート「そごう・西武」について、アメリカの投資ファンドに売却する方向で最終調整に入ったことが分かりました。　
Seven & i Holdings Co. made final arrangements to sell its subsidiary, the department store Sogo & Seibu, to an American investment fund.
関係者によりますと、そごう・西武を巡ってはアメリカの投資ファンド「フォートレス・インベストメント・グループ」に売却する方向で最終調整が進められているということです。
According to the people involved, final deals are being made to sell Sogo & Seibu to Fortress Investment Group, an American investment fund.
売却額は2000億円を超える見込みです。
The sale price is expected to exceed 200 billion yen.
セブン＆アイはコンビニエンスストア事業に集中するということです。
Seven & i will focus on the convenience store business.
フォートレスは家電量販大手のヨドバシホールディングスと連携し、西武池袋本店などの主な店にヨドバシカメラを出店する意向です。
Fortress intends to collaborate with Yodobashi Holdings, a major electronics retailer, to open Yodobashi Camera stores in major outlets such as the Seibu Ikebukuro main store. 　
しかし、テナントの入れ替えで現在、そごう・西武で働いている従業員の雇用をどう確保するかなどが課題になっています。
However, the replacement of tenants has raised issues such as how to secure employment for employees currently working at Sogo & Seibu. 　
そごう・西武は今年2月まで3年連続で赤字が続いていました。
Sogo & Seibu had been losing money for three consecutive years until February of this year.
