北朝鮮のさらなる挑発に警戒が続くなか、韓国軍とアメリカ軍は戦略爆撃機を投入した空中訓練を実施したと発表しました。

13日、韓国上空で実施された連合空中訓練にはアメリカ空軍から戦略爆撃機「B52H」とF16戦闘機、韓国空軍からF15K戦闘機が参加しました。

訓練で「圧倒的な戦力による防衛能力と態勢、アメリカの鉄壁のような半島防衛、及び拡大抑止公約履行の意志を改めて示した」としています。　
The exercise "once again demonstrates its defensive capabilities and overwhelming posture, defending the peninsula like an iron wall of the United States and its willingness to fulfill its expanded deterrence commitment."
12日に最新型ICBM＝大陸間弾道ミサイル「火星18」の発射実験を行った北朝鮮を牽制する狙いとみられますが、一方でこの訓練に対する北朝鮮の反発も予想されます。
It seems the purpose is to control North Korea, which conducted the test launch of the latest ICBM = intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwasong-18" on the 12th, but on the other hand, North Korea may also object to the training.
