アフガニスタンからの国外退避を巡って、日本人1人とは別に、14人のアフガニスタン人も自衛隊機でパキスタンに移送していたことが分かりました。
自衛隊は、27日夜、C130輸送機で日本人の女性1人を隣国のパキスタンに移送しました。
外務省幹部によりますと、その前日の26日には、退避を希望する日本大使館の現地スタッフや家族など数百人が25台ほどのバスに乗り込んで移動していましたが、
大規模な爆発テロによりカブール空港にたどり着けませんでした。
このためアメリカ側と調整し、空港で待機していたC130輸送機に、アフガニスタン人14人を乗せて、26日にパキスタンへ移送したということです。
自衛隊法84条の4に基づく「在外邦人等の輸送」で外国人を運ぶのは初めてです。
