The Chinese ambassador stated, Japan is not limiting itself to purely defensive measures, but is trying to possess even more weapons.

This is an act of an arms race.

Furthermore, the Chinese ambassador also stated, Prime Minister Takai of Japans remarks make it appear as if Japan is considering the use of force regarding the Taiwan issue.

We urge Japan to stop making such statements.

Furthermore, China criticized Japan, saying, Japan always claims that its position on the Taiwan issue has not changed, but we dont really understand what that position actually is.

Next, the Chinese ambassador stated, Japan is trying to change the rules regarding the sale of weapons to other countries, as well as the rule of not possessing nuclear weapons.

This goes beyond the scope of pure self-defense.

Finally, the Chinese ambassador emphasized, If Japan does not change its position, Japan will have to bear the consequences.
