熱海あたみ梅園ばいえんで早はやい春はるを楽たのしもう！梅うめまつり（1月いちがつ10日とおか〜3月さんがつ8日ようか）

At Atami Plum Garden in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, the Plum Festival is held every year from January 10th to March 8th.

This is one of the places in Japan where you can feel the arrival of spring the earliest.

There are about 470 plum trees in the garden that bloom with red, pink, and white flowers, making it very beautiful.

The plum blossoms in Atami bloom earlier than in other places.

The flowers begin to bloom from late November to early December, so you can enjoy a spring-like atmosphere even in winter.

There are more than 59 different varieties of plum trees in the plum garden, and you can enjoy viewing the blossoms for a long period from January to March.

At the Plum Blossom Festival, you can not only admire the flowers but also enjoy traditional music and geisha dances.

You can also enjoy looking at flowers while soaking your feet in a footbath.

Furthermore, you can also receive amazake for free.

The location is Atami Plum Garden 8-11 Baien-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, a 10-minute walk from JR Kinomiya Station.

Opening hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the admission fee is 300 yen.
