今月23日に愛媛県今治市で起きた山林火災は、27日午後2時半の時点で焼けた面積がおよそ442ヘクタールにのぼり、今治市ではこれまでに住宅5棟、空き家6棟、倉庫など10棟のあわせて21棟が被害を受けています。

火は一時期に比べて弱まっていて、今治市の徳永市長は27日に開かれた災害対策本部会議で「延焼はコントロールできている」と述べ、延焼が拡大していないという認識を明らかにしました。

延焼の被害を受けた建物の周りの道路などには、28日未明にかけて降った雨で水たまりができていました。

今治市の災害対策本部によりますと、28日朝の時点で山林火災の現場周辺で火の手や煙などは確認されていませんが、ドローン2機による上空からの調査で複数の熱源が確認されていて、鎮圧の見通しは立っていないということです。

この火災で今治市は長沢地区や朝倉北地区などあわせて5988人に避難指示を出しています。
