The explosion occurred at the vegetable market in Shiyan City, Hubei Province on the morning of the 13th.
The first floor of the building that became the site was the market, and the second floor was the dining room, which was crowded with people who were shopping and having breakfast at that time.
Multiple condominiums adjacent to each other have also been severely damaged, 12 people have died and 138 have been seriously injured so far.
Rescue activities are continuing at the site, and there is a possibility that the number of victims will increase further.
