Two Japanese women and other bodies found in the Philippines; two suspects arrested

The bodies of a 26-year-old Japanese woman and a 54-year-old Filipino mother were found in the backyard of a house in Quezon Province in the northern Philippines.
On the 14th, local police announced that the bodies of Motegi Mai and her Filipino mother, Rory Ritada, were found in the dirt in the backyard of a house in Tayabas, Quezon Province.
The two had been missing since the 21st of last month, and Motegi’s aunt filed a search request on the 9th of this month.
Another relative said that on the day the two went missing, ``I dropped them off at the bus stop.’’
They told the police that they were heading to Manila by bus.
Local media reports that police have taken custody of two suspects who attempted suicide.
