ものぐさなお爺さんとお婆さんが自分たちの垢を集めて人形を作ったら、その人形が動き出し、飯まで欲しがった
When a lazy old man and an old woman made a doll out of their scraps, the doll started moving and even asked for food.
One day, the child suddenly announced that he was going to go to a samurai training course to test his strength, so he had a 100th iron bar made for him, was given the name Chikarataro, and set out on his journey.
道中、御堂っこ太郎と石っこ太郎に出会い、それぞれと力比べをして勝ち、家来に加えることになった
Along the way, he met Midokko Taro and Ishikko Taro, and after competing against each of them, he won and was added to his retainers.
After that, I arrived at a certain town, but the town was quiet and there was no sign of anyone.

When Chikarataro asked the woman why she was crying, the girl answered that a monster appears in this town on the first day of every month and eats the sacrificed girls.

そこで力太郎は化け物退治を買って出ることになり、夜中に化け物が現れるのを待った
So Chikarataro decided to go out and exterminate the monster, and waited for the monster to appear in the middle of the night.
When a monster appears, Midokko Taro jumps at him, but ends up being eaten by the monster instead.
The following Ishikko Taro was the same.
When the last remaining Chikarataro was fighting the monster, the two people who should have been eaten started to thrash around inside the monster’s belly, and the monster finally gave in, deflated and became flattened.
こうして化け物を退治した三人はそれぞれ長者の一番目、二番目、三番目の娘を嫁にして、力太郎は里の両親を呼んで一生楽しく暮らした
After defeating the monster, the three married the richest man’s first, second, and third daughters, and Chikarataro called his parents in the village and lived happily ever after.
