A total of 109 live animals were found in two suitcases at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, and two Indian women were arrested on suspicion of smuggling.

An X-ray examination at the airport revealed two white porcupines, two armadillos, 35 turtles, 50 lizards and 20 snakes, according to a statement released by the Thai Wildlife Conservation Authority on the 26th.

Arrested are 38-year-old and 24-year-old Indian women who were about to board a flight to Chennai, eastern India.
