According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, a seasonal rain front is extending from the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula to the sea east of Japan.
Due to the influence of warm, humid air flowing towards this front, atmospheric conditions are expected to become extremely unstable in western and eastern Japan until noon on the 20th.
The Japan Meteorological Agency urges caution against lightning, tornadoes, strong gusts, localized heavy rain, and hail.
If there are signs that a cumulonimbus cloud is approaching, such as sudden darkness or cold wind, please stay safe by moving into a sturdy building.
