東京都とうきょうとは、小学生しょうがくせいから高校生こうこうせいの子こどもがいる2000人にんの親おやなどに、子こどものSNSの使つかい方かたについて質問しつもんしました

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government asked 2,000 parents of children in elementary school to high school about how their children use SNS.

その結果けっか、20％ぐらいの子こどもは、SNSで知しらない人ひとにメッセージなどを送おくったりもらったりしていました

As a result, about 20% of children sent or received messages from strangers on SNS.

この中なかで、顔かおや体からだの写真しゃしんやビデオを送おくったりした子こどもは、小学生しょうがくせいの1年生ねんせいから3年生ねんせいでは34%でした

Of these, 34% of first to third grade elementary school students sent photos or videos of their faces and bodies.

4年生ねんせいから6年生ねんせいは21%、中学生ちゅうがくせいは19%、高校生こうこうせいは7%でした

21% were 4th to 6th graders, 19% were middle school students, and 7% were high school students.

小ちいさい子こどものほうが割合わりあいが高たかくなっていました

The proportion was higher in younger children.

The results showed that approximately 20% of children sent or received messages from unknown people on social media.

この中なかで、顔かおや体からだの写真しゃしんやビデオを送おくったりした子こどもは、小学生しょうがくせいの1年生ねんせいから3年生ねんせいでは34%でした

Among these children, about 34% of those in grades 1 to 3 of elementary school sent photos or videos showing their face or body.

They further advised, “Parents should establish rules for social media use and set up restrictions to prevent children from accessing inappropriate websites to protect them from becoming victims of crimes.”
