国くには、子こどもと関係かんけいがある仕事しごとをしている人ひとが今いままでに性せい犯罪はんざいをしていないか、学校がっこうなどがチェックする制度せいど「日本版にほんばんDBS」を始はじめます

The government will launch a system called ``Japanese DBS,’’ in which schools will check whether people who work with children have committed sexual crimes.

19日にち、この制度せいどの法律ほうりつができました

On the 19th, the law for this system was enacted.

学校がっこうや塾じゅく、保育園ほいくえんなどは、働はたらいている人ひとやこれから働はたらく予定よていの人ひとの性せい犯罪はんざいについて、国くにの役所やくしょに聞きくことができます

Schools, cram schools, daycare centers, etc. can ask national government offices about sexual crimes committed by people they currently work at or who plan to work in the future.

調しらべることができる犯罪はんざいは決きまっていて、ほかの人ひとの体からだを触さわる「痴漢ちかん」や、ほかの人ひとの体からだの写真しゃしんなどを撮とる「盗撮とうさつ」についても調しらべることができます

There are fixed crimes that can be investigated, including ``molestation’’ that involves touching the body of another person, and ``voyeurism’’ that takes pictures of other people’s bodies.

国くには、性せい犯罪はんざいをしていた場合ばあい、学校がっこうなどが子こどもと関係かんけいがない仕事しごとに変かえたり、仕事しごとをやめさせたりできるようにしたいと考かんがえています

The government wants to make it possible for schools and other institutions to change jobs that have nothing to do with children or forbid people from working if they have committed a sex crime.
