Japanese whiskey sold for approximately 55 million yen at UK auction

This year marks 100 years since the first factory was built to make whiskey in Japan.
To commemorate this occasion, 271 rare Japanese whiskeys were auctioned on the 17th in London, England.
One of these whiskeys, Karuizawa 1960, cost approximately 55 million yen.
Made at Karuizawa Distillery in Nagano Prefecture, which has now ceased production.
I kept it in a barrel for 52 years to keep it tasty, and only sold 41 bottles in 2013.
It’s delicious, but it’s difficult to buy, so it’s expensive.
Last year, another Japanese whiskey sold for about 89 million yen at an American auction.
