House of Representatives election: More than half the number of LDP members
On October 31, there was an election to select 465 members of the House of Representatives.
The ruling Liberal Democratic Party has 261 elected, although it is 15 fewer than before the election.
The other ruling Komeito party has 32 members, an increase of 3 members.

The number of Nippon Ishin no Kai was 41, an increase of 30.
Other political parties were the Democratic Party for the People (11), the Communist Party (10), the Reiwa Shinsengumi (3), and the Social Democratic Party (1).
