”Preventing the spread of the virus at US military facilities in Japan”
An increasing number of people are transmitting the new coronavirus at US military facilities in Okinawa and Yamaguchi prefectures.
For this reason, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hayashi spoke on the phone with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the 6th.
Minister Hayashi urged that the virus be prevented from spreading by creating rules to prevent military personnel from leaving the facility in order to eliminate the worries of people in Okinawa Prefecture and other prefectures.
