総務省は高速大容量の通信規格「5G」の次の世代にあたる6Gの研究開発を進めるために産・学・官による設立総会を開きました。
The Ministry of Home Affairs and Communications held a General Assembly set up by Industry, Academy and Government to promote research and development 6G, the next generation of high-speed and high-capacity communication standards, 5G.
6Gは通信速度が5Gの10倍で、同時に接続できる端末の数も5Gの10倍といわれています。
6G has the communication speed of 10 times faster than 5G and the number of terminals that can be connected at the same time is 10 times more than 5G.
研究開発には今年度の第3次補正予算で500億円が計上され、2030年の導入を目指しています。
The third additional budget for development research this year will be 50 billion yen, and they are aiming to use it in 2030.
