ロイター通信によりますと、このコカインは、コロンビア軍によって10日、カリブ海のサン・アンドレス島から中央アメリカに向かっていたボートから押収されました。　
According to Reuters, cocaine was seized by the Colombian military from a boat bound for Central America from San Andres Island in the Caribbean Sea on the 10th.
重さは合わせておよそ2.4トンあり、総額は8000万ドル＝およそ88億円に上ります。　
The total weight is about 2.4 tons, the total amount is 80 million dollars = about 8.8 billion yen.
今回の摘発は、海軍と空軍による共同作戦で実行され、密輸用のボートに乗っていた5人が海の上で逮捕されたということです。

コロンビアでは、7月におよそ203億円相当のコカインが押収され、8月にも75億円相当のコカインが押収されるなど、当局による麻薬取り締まりが強化されています。
