台東区浅草で行われたイベントにはピーポくんや地元の少年団、浅草の文化を発信する振袖を着た「振袖ガールズ」が参加しました。
好天に恵まれた日曜日、雷門では訪れる観光客と記念写真を撮ったり交通事故や路上トラブルにつながる恐れのある「ながらスマホ」をやめるよう呼び掛け、ティッシュを配りました。
その後、浅草名物の人力車10台がピーポくんらを乗せ、列になって浅草の街のパトロールを行いました。
春の全国交通安全運動は15日までで、期間中は交通ルールの普及や取り締まりの強化が行われます。
