能登半島地震で一次避難所にいる住民の情報を交通系ICカード「Suica」で把握する取り組みが始まります。

石川県の被災地では、自宅近くで車に泊まっている人や一次避難所から別の場所に移動する人も多く、居場所の把握が難しくなっています。
In Ishikawa Prefecture's disaster areas, many people had to stay in cars near their homes or travel from initial evacuation centers to other locations, making it difficult to track their whereabouts.
避難所を利用する人が連絡先などを登録したSuicaをかざすと、自治体が利用状況を把握できるようになります。

As people using evacuation centers keep their Suica cards with registered contact information, local authorities can track the status of usage.
Suicaはおよそ1万8000枚用意し、来週にも配布を始める予定です。
