「糖質カット」をうたう電気炊飯器の一部は表示されたカット率を満たしていないなどとする調査結果が公表されました。

国民生活センターが「糖質カット炊飯器」6銘柄をテストしたところ、糖質カットのご飯は通常のものに比べて1割から2割程度、水分が多くなったことで糖質の割合が低下しました。　
When the National Center for Consumer Affairs examined six brands of "sugar-cut rice cookers," the percentage of sugar in sugar-cut rice was reduced by 10 to 20 percent compared to regular rice due to its higher water content.
ただ、糖質の総量に大きな差はなかったということです。

また「糖質最大54％オフ」などとうたった5銘柄のうち、4銘柄は広告に記載されたカット率に大きく及ばず、景品表示法違反にあたる恐れがあります。

国民生活センターは「糖質カット炊飯器でも同じ量の米から炊いたご飯をすべて食べれば糖質の量は大きく変わらないので、食べるご飯の量を注意してほしい」と呼び掛けています。
Japan's National Consumer Affairs Center urges people to be careful about how much rice they eat, because the amount of sugar does not change significantly if all rice is cooked from the same amount of rice eaten even in a rice cooker with reduced sugar.
