ニューメキシコ州のアルバカーキで2日、「バルーンフェスタ」が開かれ、数百もの熱気球が打ち上げられました。
毎年開かれていた「バルーンフェスタ」は去年、新型コロナの感染拡大を受けて中止となり、今年は2年ぶりに開催されました。
49回目となった今年は9日間にわたり588機の熱気球が参加し、90万人の来場者が見込まれているということです。
ワクチンの接種証明は必要とされていませんが、屋内や人が多い場所ではマスクの着用が義務付けられています。
